Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

I am still getting a no-launch error, where the sims 4 will not launch. Trying to 50/50 is not working because sometimes adding files in causes it to stop working, and other times it doesn't. This inconsistency means I don't know what is causing my game not to launch, and it is still not resolved for me. 

Right? At this point we honestly need either a sedative or a miracle just to stay calm.

oh because i couldnt sleep last night thinking about my game to wake up and still the same bs i could atleast open my game last night now just a error message sayings "an error on end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later" its really disappointing on EA part :( 

It's the same for me, it's even worse since the last update, I just have a black screen...

Hey, I just figured out it was gameplay mods causing it to not launch after the hot fix. My game launched after I had only cc installed in my mods folder. So I recommend trying to launch the game with only CC inside your mods folder and seeing if it launches. 

ATTENTION: if your game still doesn't launch after the March 18th hotfix, try to launch your game only with cc in your mods folder. My game didn't work even after the hotfix at first, but when I removed gameplay mods and only left my cc installed, the game launched. 

That pop for me too i just press ok and press play again and it worked for me and i still have all my mods and ccs in my folder

This problem is NOT solved. My CC (8,000 file +) does not work. I am still getting the "Failed to launch" message. And the game can't be updated because it won't launch to do the upgrade.

Same issue here! Currentl repairing the game in hopes it works. So ridiculous they fix one issue and not anything else.

After the quick fix done by the team, whenever i click to play TS4 it comes up saying theres an error and it cant launch the game, and to try again in a little bit. Super frustrated, im itching to get back on after being in hospital for a week, im so stressed omg. Sims, fix your game ! Currently repairing the game to see if it works. I just cant believe it took 18 hours for nothing to happen
