Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

I need help getting into the sims 4 but there is an error saying "⚠️ failed to launch game - an error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later" Can someone help me?

I also ran into a problem logging into the game when using CC content.

I noticed that I can't log into the game and get an error message when using mods that are in the interaction circle and are script mods. If you delete the script mods from the mods folder, the game will start with the pekage files.

So I tried the fix, and this is what happened during each step as I tried to add in more and more of my items.

Renamed the original folder to generate all new ones, game launched.
C&P'd my actual CC into the game, not the script mods. Game launched.
Added in script mods. Game launched.
Added in the saves and tray items (still C&Ping). Game launched.
I C&P'd my usersetting.ini file over (I hate having to redo all of my sound settings). Failed to launch.
Removed that file again. Game launched.
Closed the game to double check and relaunched it. Failed to launch.

So for me it partially worked? It's like it will load initially when I make the changes, and then failed when I tried to relaunch it after closing the game. It was kind of a hit or miss.

Im so mad... next week for their error..

Hi! I had the exact same problem after the latest patch, and I managed to fix it. Here’s what worked for me:

• The update corrupted a few CC package files.
• Even ONE broken file can stop the whole game from launching.
• I fixed it by testing my Mods folder in small batches until I found the corrupted files.
• After removing those, the game loaded all my CC normally again.

It’s a bit time‑consuming, but it really works. If your game won’t launch at all, start by testing half of your CC, then narrow it down. I found only 3 bad files out of a lot of package, and everything is working now.

I need to share this, cus it's soooo wierd 😲 

I've been having problems too, since the new update. The first two days i could'nt open my game, it said "Error Launching" like everywhere else ..
I started checking everything in my mods folder.. Updated my mods, and deleted those that where broken.. 
Then final i did a repair of my game again, restarted the EA app ,and it worked .. 👀 
All my mods and CC's are there. And I did'nt sort my maps or anything.. Then I played for a couple of hours, saved the game, and closed it.. 

BUT .. ☝️ Right after i closed the game, it would'nt open?? - and i got the "launch error message" again..
I JUST had the game open for several hours ! So i got stubborn.. 😂
I closed the EA app again, and re'opened it.. Tried a couple of times to open the game, and it kept saying "Error launching".. But then the fourth, or fifth time, it worked... Wupti.. And i could play again without any problems.. I don't understand this ?? I just keep closing the error pop-up, and press play again right after, and all of a sudden it works, if i try long enough 😂 

Same thing happened today.. - I  got that annoying error message again..
 I tried pressing play for five or six times, cause it worked yesterday.. BUT today it didn't..
So I restarted the EA app again, tried a couple of times to press play, end then it worked again??  And i've been playing several hours again today without problems.. 

After i closed the game today, the EA app needed to update, and i was hoping it would've fixed the launching problem... it did'nt..... 😂🙄 And i actually had a lot of problems getting the game to work again after the update.. But this time it worked to restart my computer. I still had to close the error pop-up a few times tho, but then, HUPTI! It worked fine again. Game is running now.

Commenting for the third time to say nothing has worked for in the 2 days that i’ve spent trying to fix my game. everything is inconsistent so i can’t even test cc. im not sure if my game works with mods because i don’t want to put broken ones in since i haven’t updated them yet.. 

Is anyone else able to open the game with the Mods folder and all CC in offline mode?

Well, every time I opened the game in offline mode, with the CC in the Mods folder, the game launched with the CC enabled.Now, playing online still requires a lot of attempts and many lastcrash files before the game finally opens.
