Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

Is making my own thread going to magically make my game work?crinrict​ 

I have seen that many other people are experiencing the issue of “Game failed to launch. Please try again later”, and I have tried many of the fixes that were suggested. This only started happening to me after the emergency patch. I know that my script mods are not causing the problem, because I have tested them and updated all the ones I could and they work fine. I am pretty certain the cause is my CC, because when i remove my CC folder I can launch the game. 

I’m aware that content creators need time to update things, but I have over 6,000 pieces of CC and it will take hours to go through it all. I tried the 50/50 method but i found that most of the folders have something broken.

Is there anything else i can do? Or should i just toughen up and individually search every folder?

Am also having this issue. same with another commenter, "I am still getting a no-launch error, where the sims 4 will not launch. Trying to 50/50 is not working because sometimes adding files in causes it to stop working, and other times it doesn't. This inconsistency means I don't know what is causing my game not to launch, and it is still not resolved for me." Works fine with no cc, will post lastexception, i use pc, dxdiag will post as well.

Hair and clothing might not be compatible anymore.

If I put each CC hair creator into their own subfolder, the game launches with no problem unlike when they are all in one folder together, then it causes an error. The same thing might be happening with clothing as well. You might need to sort everything as a temporary fix.

Literally what are they ever updating this is so annoying. They are so annoying😭 my whole game is black. Wouldn’t load. Did the 50/50 still nothing. I’m over it atp. Every time I start over bc of an update a new one comes and breaks my game again. I’ve restarted and deleted saves and mods ten times thus far. Sick of them

I do not even know what else to do to fix this my MY GAME WONT LAUNCH I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING

Yesterday after the patch update, all of my kids and cc disappeared except for about 30 items. Today? The game won’t even launch with my sims folder. I’ve deleted and removed many files and still can’t find the issues. Also, I turned of automatic updates. Why does this still happen??? 

Same here. Worked a bit, then my game crashed and boom. Failed to launch again. Repaired game, restarted app, deleted  EA cache, logged out and back in. Nothing worked.

Same here. This is so frustrating.
