I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.

SimsPE Do you have all your Caio mods in a folder together? This seems to be an issue that's somehow related to folders, not what's in them.
Please try this set of steps:
- rename your user folder (the one Mods is inside of). I usually also drag it to my desktop.
- start the game and exit to create a new user folder
- Copy CC files over but don't copy the folders. Instead, make new folders manually.

I've tried this and it still doesn't work.
Milkshake00012 Please do check the instructions she's posted! You'll need to upload a folder to something like Drive then share info by DM.
The comments TRIPLED in the last 24hours... Is EA going to make a statement??? This obviously is not a CC issue.
LadyKaliArchon That's not a related issue. It sounds like you have either an outdated version of Better Exceptions -- delete it and use the TwistedMexi website to get the current -- or several other outdated mods.
reyen0804 Had you made a new user folder before starting this process, by renaming it or dragging it to the desktop? Please do feel free to @ me. I'm looking for info on whether the exact set of steps I've been recommending fails at some point, and I can't test it myself because I haven't succeeded in breaking the game on my own computer.
Flivit Try refreshing the user folder by renaming it so the game makes a new one, then instead of copying folders back in, copy only mod files. Make new folders for them manually. I don't know yet if this stays fixed. So far, I don't have anyone telling me it doesn't stay fixed.

No offense, but why should we move over thousands of individual cc files into new folders? Why did the game suddenly decide it won't read files like it has for years? I have 118 folders in my Mods folder. I'm not going to spend days, doing a few at a time to see if the game will load.
EA broke the game in their money grab and may have turned off most of its player base in the process
