I am having the same issue. I updated to the latest version of the game, and my game still DOES NOT launch with my cc. My cc worked perfectly fine before this update. I can only load my cc a little at a time but not all at once, because if I do, the game WILL NOT launch. This issue was not fully fixed as previously claimed. Please address this issue!! I will be uploading my Electronic Arts folder as soon as possible

I own every paid dlc legitimately, except a couple of the kits, if this error is truly not fixed and it is not possible to play with the same CC as before the patch (things that have no impact on core game mechanics) due to your greedy marketplace that is truly the end of the road for me here, the CC is the only reason I have played the game for this long and bought packs at all, there is absolutely no reason for me to continue supporting this franchise without it

I followed all the instructions: clearing the cache, deleting the cache files, moving and replacing the custom content (CC). The first time, the game managed to start. This proves that the problem isn't with the CC, but with the game itself. Our CC worked perfectly before this update; it's not broken, contrary to what EA wants us to believe. We shouldn't have to perform computer manipulations to get the game working. Modders shouldn't be "fixing" CC that was working perfectly fine until now. Some of us have over 5,000 CC, and they all work perfectly. I refuse to delete even a single one. Fix the problem or it's goodbye. I will never pay for CC, especially when I see what you're doing, because yes, it's obvious. Never has an update been so precise in its ability to only break cosmetics and not mods, what a coincidence.
PS: I just cleared the application cache, repaired the game, deleted the resource file (located in the mod folder), and the cache files. The game just launched... What it takes to get this game working is unbelievable...
But again, this proves that the problem isn't with the custom content, but with you.

I moved your post to the thread on that issue.

I've been having this same issue the past few days and realized tonight that what mods/cc was showing up was located in the same level as the ts4scripts I had installed (i.e., mccc, UI_cheats). I added more ts4 scripts I'd removed, and they, too, started working after I ran a repair from the EA app for the umpteenth time. After that, I started adding back in more mods/cc, some as loose packages, some as folders containing packages from favourite creators. When I added the cc folders to the mods folder, the crashes and "Failed to Launch Game" errors came up. Once I removed those cc creator folders though, cleaned the error files, localthumbnails, &c., things worked again. Since all was going reasonably well with .package files at the same level as my .ts4script files in my mods folder, I went back and copy-and-pasted the .package files from my sequestered creator files into the mods folder along with the script and cc that worked, and after restarting the game, those cc packages showed up in-game as one would expect. My suggestion is to put the most dear to you cc packages in right next to your most dearly loved script files no more than 1 folder deep so you can play while EA works out the bugs from this last update& hotfix. Man, I hope that was clear to everybody! It's the middle of the night where I am, I've been trying to sort this out scientifically since before sunset, and you've got a person dealing with foggy long-COVID brain coupled with foggy Parkinson's brain. Good luck, friends!

Guys! I don't know if it's the root of the problem but so far, only Makeup CCs that caused the error in my game. Still halfway through the checking tho, will update later

It was on the bug report, now it is not? I upvoted it, but now I do not see any upvotes, so I guess it is just a regular post.. Why would they remove it from the bug report?

What’s weird is that my game will give me the “failure to launch” message inconsistently.
Example: I removed all mods and added script mods back, it worked fine. I added some cc back it worked fine but then I added other cc and nope it won’t launch. So I removed the new cc that I added and nope still won’t launch. Then I take out all cc and it launched again.
it’s been 3 days of this for me.
