My game seems to be running well for now. I play the game on a PC Windows 11. I delete the localthumbcache and avatarcache when I exit the game. Then I restart my computer. This has been working for me for several days. I made sure all my mods were updated. I did take out some of the high risk mods like Carls Dine Out and others that make heavy game changes.

Problem is resolved. Thank you to all for your help. I do have to say though that sporadically I've been getting that message that says "Failed to Launch".

it's possible you need to enable cc and script mods in the options settings. be aware that if you saved while your Sims are bald and naked then you'll need to rollback to a previous save in order for their clothes to come back after you enable mods. (make sure you restart the game after enabling this settings or they won't stick.)
if you haven't updated your game to the latest version and have mods enabled, then you might be having the bug where cc won't show in game. if that's the case, take your entire mods folder OUT of your The Sims 4 folder before you update. then make sure to enable mods in game options before loading a save.

do you have a shortcut of the game on your desktop? you could try running it as administrator (right click the icon for the option) and see if it will at least load.
by any chance do you have two EA accounts, or does someone who lives with you have a separate account? if so, it's possible you just got logged out.
if you've been logged out, launching the game from your desktop should prompt the EA app to popup and ask you to sign in.

yeah unfortunately that's an extremely common issue right now. it's been confirmed that the cc isn't what is broken, and the working theory is that it has something to do with the folders the cc is in. there also has been speculation that CAS cc is in particular affecting whether the game will launch.
you can try removing all CAS cc first and see if it works, and if not then try the steps that are pinned at the top of this post. (i would suggest testing the build mode cc before adding the CAS cc back.)
so far it's been incredibly random whether the game launches or not. sometimes it launches fine with xyz cc, but then it'll suddenly no longer launch with nothing changed.
fortunately EA is working on a fix and will be doing an update in the coming days (according to their discord).

Alas in the exact same boat :( deleted 30gb/9k of cc, redownloaded everything, uninstalled and reinstalled the game.., everything. The only thing that works is playing completely without CC.. which is hell

Today EA app isn't registering my already installed and ‘did work last night’ Sims 4.

I don't know if it can solely be attributed to Marketplace. My game worked fine after I installed the update; it only failed when I tried to run it yesterday.
