seems we are all having this problem

I am starting to suspect it's a volume issue, not truly the CC itself. I also can load a small amount of CC (I did Accessories and game loaded fine). Later, when removing all and adding it back in small chunks, loading the Accessories folder caused the game to fail to load. Also, as many have stated, my mods are updated and loading fine. It's only adding the CC back in that's causing the load failure.

I've updated the pinned posts.
Please if you use any Mod Managers, uninstall them and try a fresh folder after that.

There’s no fix, they didn’t patch anything. Half of the CC are still not working in the sims, it’s the game’s problem. We need another patch so they’ll fix ALL the CC, they failed to do even that. March 18 update was completely useless

Hey, if your mods folder is organized I recommend adding one folder at a time. I did this and the cc that was broken for me was Sunivaa's cc. Now for mods, delete all scripted mods. Like, mcc, twisted mexi's, anything that adds stuff to the game or makes the game better.

Update:
I tried the Clean Folder Method and got it to start. I put my mods BACK in. Wouldn’t start. Out of sheer curiosity, I re-downloaded MCCC into the clean folders. It launched fine. I redownloaded two hair CC I had in my previous Mods folder. Added those in. And it launched fine.
I will literally have to go through and redownload every single piece of CC I had in order to use it, apparently. That has been the only thing that has worked and allowed the game to launch at all.

Hi!
I have a problem ever since the newest update where the game won't launch if I have any B&B or CAS items in my mods folder, I've updated both the latest updates and made sure everything is up to date and also repaired the game 4 times. Yet it still won't work. Is anyone else having this problem? Have I missed something because I can't seem to find a solution to this problem. Please help!

I agree that the patch for 18March is useless with mods my game doesn't want to start even if I did Ea App Recovery I even repaired my game and still nothing. But I did move my mods to my desktop and started the game with no problems!
Long story short please fix the freaking game!!

heroiinoname yes, please try that. Uninstall it then try fresh folder: 📓[GUIDE] Clean User Folder Approach | EA Forums - 12690428 with only your cc (no mods) put back
