Fast Forwarding freezes game

I am not sure what platform they are on but i had the same issues yesterday just after the update. 

• I play on PC
• i have no mods or custom content added just the base game and a few bought extensions and game packs
• This happened regardless of how many times i restarted the game/my pc and still happened after using the repair feature on EA.

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
• Does this happen for every save/Household or just specific saves/Households

I have the same issue as well several times since I've updated. While it happened, I tried to save the game but it didn't work. 

I've been having the same issue all night tonight. This didn't happen before the update.
