Fast Forwarding freezes game

I have been experiencing the same bug since the update too. It's always around midnight when time is sped up (auto or not).  It is happening every night in game. The sim continues repeating the animation they were doing when the issue occurred, however objects such as trees continue to sway and the sun comes up and goes down again (as if a whole day has passed during the freeze). I cannot click on any objects, open the phone, etc. If I enter build mode while frozen and return to live mode, the game is still frozen. Eventually it unfreezes and the speed returns to normal everything starts moving again. If I have selected an item while frozen, sometimes the pie menu comes up. If I have opened the calendar or Notebook, they open when unfrozen.

This has been happening for me as well. I’ve only been playing today for a few minutes and it keeps freezing or delaying. I’ve had to close the game with task master. I play on Mac and I’ve took out my mods and something happens. I’ve tried playing three different households and same thing. 

I am having the same issue. For me it happens when the game is fast forwarded at midnight. The game stops at 12:23am and sims continue doing the animations they were doing at midnight. I can hit pause and the game will stay in that limbo state for a bit and then time will jump back to 12:00

There were a couple times that the freeze stopped and the game resumed but it would take a few minutes and if I tried to save it would stall and I would have to force close in task manager but one time I just let it sit and the game resumed normally. I just stopped fast forwarding. It happened at 2x and 3x speed. 

I’m on PC using MCCC, MCCC whohoo and UI cheats but it happens with or without the mods and it was happening in multiple households. I did not try making a new save though 

I'm PC, use MCCC command center, UI cheats, MC whoohoo. I've removed all CC and mods and still have the same issue.

Could you please all post your mod usage and platform ?

Same here. My houshold in sims went to bed and it fast forward and froze, and I can`t save and need to use task manager to close the game. I have it since the last update and I hope sims team fix this asap.

I'm having the same problem, but without fast-forwarding. It happens within minutes of starting my game. I can go to build/buy mode and the menu, but nothing in the game.
