Fire announced but there is no Fire on Lot

I took my sim to the spa and got back to a notification about a fire, I searched the whole house and no fire was found. Some sims reacted in the living room, and furniture was being burned but no fire was actually happening, the fire service came but no one extinguished anything it just suddenly stopped. Sorry no photos of when it was actively “burning” (when it wasn’t) as I was focused on not having the house burned down but the aftermath is shown.

  • Since the last update it's really often that it's burning near me, but it's not burning. So I have to leave the game without saving (because that‘s not working) . I can‘t play properly.

could you please provide the following info:

    • Are you using any mods/cc in your game and if so, did you test without them ?
    • What do you mean by It's burning near me but it's not burning ? Could you maybe add a screenshot ?
    • What is burning ? An object ? Kitchen fire ?
    • Did you have have a cursed book event ?

I use Mods but I tested the game without it, and turned out thats not the problem. So it says that there is a fire but nothing is burning (so no object, no person, nothing). And when I Call the fire service they do nothing and everyone are just sharing.

Merging this with the thread on invisible fires then.

Actually found a better thread when looking for something else.

  • So I recently got notification of a fire happening in my sims' lot but whenever I go check where the possible fire hazards are, I can't find it. My sims also don't seem to be panicking but after a few minutes they'd get the "Fire Out" notification. It's happened twice in my game now. I'm a pc user.

Fires that doesn't even exist start somewhere in the house. It's like it doesn't exist but we can't save the game and leave... We can hear the fire but there is no fire, the Sims don't even react and the firefighters don't do anything. It's been the 5th times since 2 days... Each time I have to leave without saving... 🫠🫠🫠🫠

Lately, I have been receiving random FALSE fire alarm messages, even though there is no actual fire. Why? My sim lives OffTheGrid in a tree house and has very minimal stuff on the lot. So there is no way I could overlook a fire. Is this a bug or is this supposed to be a fire prank/joke on the player? It's very irritating when you have to look around in every corner just to discover that there is NO FIRE. I then have to reload the game because all the menu tabs in the upper right, like Build-Buy-Mode, are greyed out and non-functional.
