I'm not sure if this has been mentioned previously but I have just had the most frustrating experience with this bug and needed to put it here. It has happened in other scenarios, but it most often happens in the high school. My Sim will buy food from the cafeteria vendor, sit down and when i click for them to interact with another Sim, they will stand up and hover their hand over the food, making it disappear. This happened three times in a row, buy some food, talk to Sim, food disappears, rinse and repeat. It is very frustrating when my Sim is starving and getting progressively more hungry the more times the food disappears and they don't take a single bite out of it because I told them to interact with someone and the prospect of talking and eating is apparently too much for them to handle. I play on Mac.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- Could you maybe record a video of what's happening and either upload to unlisted youtube or google/one drive and link here ?
I don't use mods and I honestly cannot get footage of it happening because it is so random. But food disappears, most often in the high school cafeteria, when I make my active Sim talk to someone else.

and the food is not in the Sims inventory afterwards ? The hand over food thing sounds odd so I had hoped you had a pic/video for that.
