[FR] Clean Pressure cooker causes bad smell animation/green smoke

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
• Do you have a pressure cooker in your kitchen ?

This has been going on since I've had For Rent. The slow cooker will appear as if it has spoiled food inside it when it is empty.

For me this only started with Adventure Awaits or one of the updates released just before the expansion release.

I am also having this problem and it's the pressure cooker causing it, I play on a windows gaming laptop with direct x11, no mods or cc ever and my game is fully up to date. It's only been a thing since we had either Adventure Awaits or an update around the same time.

The fact that this has been happening for almost two years yet it hasn't been fixed is wild. It's a shame that they don't care about this type of bugs.

Also having this problem. Among so many others. They need to focus on play testing more and fixing the game. An 11yr old game shouldn’t be this bad.

Yeah, same issue, different day. I stopped putting the Pressure Cooker in any of my Sim's houses because they would always have a foul smell coming from them, even if they were never used. Decided to finally give it another try yesterday, I come back to my game today, and -- same problem.  Not sure if it was triggered again because of latest update or pack, but, yeah... Back to not using a perpetually broken item.
Honestly, I've never once gotten to use this item properly and without being buggy since it came out. It's heartbreaking.

I also have this problem, this comes with the latest update and a new save file.

Both the crockpot and kava bowl randomly start stinking. I noticed the crockpot doing this months ago, so I stopped placing it in my builds. In my newest save, I placed a kava bowl in sims kitchen. Despite it being emptied, deleted then replaced, it always starts to stink. This also happens with the crockpot. No matter how many times you empty it, delete it or replace it, it still stinks. I play on Mac
