There is a ghost that my property owner sims house. Whenever I confront him, the action runs but nothing happens. The ghost doesn't leave and the tenant issue isn't resolved.
Exorcising does work.

Just bought For Rent, playing on Mac with no mods. I’ve confronted the ghost several times but it doesn’t complete the event. I have no option to exorcize. If it matters, the event has happened on my landlord sim’s home unit.
Same issue except exorcising option does not appear and nothing works.

How do you resolve this issue? It says to call maintenance or handle it yourself by confronting or exorcising but none of those do anything. The maintenance guy just runs around being scared of the ghost. Confronting doesn't result in anything and there is no such option as exorcising. Eventually it times out and the ghost leaves but ruins a whole day, leaves a mess, my sims basic needs suffer and it affects the rental rating. Very confusing. Is this broken or am I missing something?
