[FR] Landlord doesn't have option for inspection/maintenance

On MAC - Commenting to keep bringing attention. You cannot do one of the primary aspirations in For Rent due to this. 

Patch 02/03/2026 still did not resolve this. It has been months. 

I am also having this issue after the recent update, the option to inspect and do maintenance does not exist- on Mac, no mods

I have all packs installed + kits and currently I am not using any  mods enabled I am using most recent version of sims and I am using windows pc. Not able to perform maintenance/inspections when visiting my units tenants /households, but I am using an apartment from the gallery... may that be why?

I am trying to raise the ratings of my residential rental, but I don't have the options to inspect or maintain any of the appliances or plumbing fixtures in any of the 5 units.

I’m having this same issue still after yesterday’s update. I am playing with no mods on pc. There is no option listen on any breakable items to perform maintenance. It also seems to roll over onto maintenance events in general now as all of them are failing for me after recent update. During explosive malfunction event on a rental property playing as a landlord, there is no faulty stove, oven, or grill to replace anywhere. I’m trying to complete the five star property owner aspiration and it is impossible.

The issue still persists. No option to inspect the plumbing or stove, etc. on the newest version 1.121.342.1030 DX11. I use no MODs, play on PC. Very frustrating!
