[FR] Lease duration frozen at max

I have the same problem. Every time I launch the game, the lease resets to 7 days or 0, and nothing happens (no rent to pay when playing as a tenant or no rent received when playing as a landlord). Please fix this problem... The For Rent game is unplayable and I can't enjoy what I paid for. Thank you.

I have the same issue on PS5, no mods. Will try to evict one person and set the lease to 1 day

Everything about the, "for rent" expansion is broken for me. The lease sticks, the landlord doesn't get the positive credit for fixing things, playing as a tenant didn't really work. I am very sad because it seems I cannot play with anything this expansion was supposed to do to enhance. 

When I buy an apartment for rent, the day counter is constantly updated. For example, if I set that Sims can live for 7 days, then the counter is constantly updated from 6 back to 7 or does not move at all. Accordingly, I don't receive rent money from them, as if the Sims don't live there.

Also, despite the fact that I perform tests on the rental site and they are marked as completed, the tests are updated upon exiting and re-entering the site. Also, despite the fact that I can fix all the items in the test with the breakdown of all electronic items on the site, and I can take out the trash. The test is still considered failed. It's the same with a ghost, for example.

have you checked that your tenants have jobs.  Without income rent can't be paid.  Look at the lease just below your set rent.  If the max rent is something like $5 then this is the likely cause.

Mines been the same. I don’t think mines ever worked properly and I’ve had it a while tried repairing game and I don’t use mods the lease is stuck on 7 days and the landlord is paying tax for the property’s  with his bills but not getting any rent money 

Haven’t received rent once since i downloaded it. Just noticed the lease days have not been counting down. I don’t want restart how can this be fix? 

I have the same issue. Lease period counts down in game, but every time I quit and re-load my save, it goes back to 7 days
