Also having this issue. Lease length got down to 5 days the back up to 7 overnight.
BTW is clicking on "like" the same as the old "me too?"

I haven’t made any money from property yet… when I restart the game, the lease resets to the original amount of days so I don’t get paid. If I play through the full lease (no matter how many days I set it as) I still don’t get paid! When the lease ends, it automatically resets with the same tenants staying there and no rent paid! The game doesn’t act like it’s a problem so there’s no notification or late rent or anything. I think it’s just glitched. What am i doing wrong?

Agreed. I thought about returning the pack, but I wouldn't be eligible for a refund at this point...

Just adding that I'm having this problem too: lease length doesn't decrease and I haven't received any rent. I also had to turn of the maintenance events as those failed every single time despite me trying several different ways to complete them.

Hello,
I have a sim that rents out a property but lets say I set the term length for 10 days and play for 5 then save and leave the game when I load up the next day it still says they have 10 days to live there basically makes for rent not usable.

Not receiving rent payout at the end of the week also the lease constantly says 7 days left.

The lease days stay at 7 and never go down. Have never collected rent. Can't evict anybody unless its unjustified. Nobody moves out. You're basically paying for sims to live in your rentals. Whenever a problem arises I pay for expensive contractors. All units have 5 star ratings and my tenants still protest, but won't move.

Ugh! I want to increase rents on my highly-rated units and this lease glitch means risking tenant relationships and satisfaction.

I got the For Rent pack a few months ago and haven't been able to be a landlord yet. When I select tenants to move into my unit, the remaining lease days will stay 7 days. I have reported this before but nothing seems to be done about it. This pack is full of bugs, which means my sim is missing out on so many simoleons. Why doesn't The Sims work on fixing the packs they have instead of making new ones!
