I've been having the same problem for months

As a landlord I every time I renter the game the lease time starts over. I can’t make updates or justly evict at the end of a lease because I never reach the end unless I play for hours. If my lease length is 4 days and I play for two sim days and exit, it’s back to 4 days left. 

Same issue here! I've just bought the for rent pack and the lease duration never changes so you never get any rent! I also tried to save my game 3 separate times last night and I kept getting error messages saying it cannot save. (Also when I tried to travel to the turtle hatching event the game crashed without saving).... Oh Sims... we pay so much for these packs and they are always so glitchy :(

ME TOO. Lease not going down, no rent is paid, since March 2025. EA are you doing something about this?

Fix For Rent please. Lease resets, there's no grace period and tenants never pay rent. Thanks 

I have the same issue. My sims are tenants and the tenant agreement length does not decrease.

My lease agreements will not reset and continuously stay at a 7 day lease. I also do not get paid rent. It was fine up until about a month ago. I don't use any mods and have done troubleshooting I've found online. 

Not sure if this is the correct thread, but I’m experiencing the following issue:

The lease duration counts down as expected, but it resets every time I exit the game or switch to another household. I tested this with a short lease (3 days), and after the last day of the lease, instead of starting the grace period, the lease duration resets back to 3 days. Either way, I can't collect my rent.

I have all DLC, game is updated, no mods and CC.

Lease length keeps getting stuck on the max length. I've removed all mods, restarted, made new saves etc and have occasionally made some progress but it always seems to reset.
