Which calls do you still get ? All of them ?
Did you test a new save with no mods/cc as well ?
I tested it on a new save with no mods/cc, only long enough to see if one would pop up and Charity Event did. In my regular save (which was with mods) I experienced calls for both the Water Leak and Electrical Failure events.
