[FR] Maintenance Troubles on Residential Lot: Can't do required task

I am having an issue with For Rent. Whenever I have to fix something or deal with a tenant revolt, the game isn't registering that I have fixed the issue (backed up sewage, broken appliances, etc). When promising better conditions (4 star property) I have to do it like 4-5 times and then the in game message says that I have ignored the tenant.

Same! I just now encountered the Garden Blight issue and do not have any marked "blighted" plants on the lot. 

Same here! This specific lot challenge has never worked on my regular residential lots and small businesses residential lots, unfortunately, because it adds such nice and surprising gameplay. I get pop-ups informing of stove malfunction and such but there’s nothing to be fixed. I don’t have any mods.

I need this fixed so bad!

I'm having the explosive malfunction event but absolutely nothing is malfunctioning so I'm stuck with the event with no way of resolving it. 👎

edit: I also experienced the blight event and that didn't work either. Only then I remembered to remove the lot trait but it's so frustrating it takes 24h to be able to enter BB again. Oh and btw I had lots of different plants on the lot on several different storeys and I checked all of them for blight but nope.

This would be such a fun feature if only it worked! 

I'm having this issue too. Blighted plants never works in my experience. I never get a single blighted plant and I have them in pots inside and planted in the ground outside.

The explosive malfunction, it never breaks the stove. I've tried multiple stoves because I thought it was the one from the new life and death pack that wasn't working, but I've also had this happen with base game stoves.

The cursed book sometimes works and sometimes it never spawns anywhere. I even went into build mode from manage worlds and moved all of the furniture around looking for it. It wasn't there. Sometimes, the book will spawn in an unreachable room and I can move it in build mode from the world map. There should be a test to see if the spot is reachable from the spawn point of the lot.

The ghost one seems to work OK.

I have been using Cursed Lot trait on regular residential with small business. Events pop up as expected occassionally, most often Blight. No plants showing blight; they are planted in the new pottery pots. I uproot one (doesn't matter which since they aren't actually marked with "blight) and the uprooting satisfies the event. 

I just got Cursed book event for the first time in a long time on the same lot I've been playing a few weeks. I cannot find the book anywhere. 

I've had the explosive malfunction and cannot find a broken stove either. Fortunately I was using a spellcaster and had her "zipzap" the stove and then manually repaired it and that completed the event. 

These events all need to be revisited as they are not working correctly.

This bug is still active and happens on every single one of my residential lots on any of my saves. I even tried uninstalling the game several times. So annoying.
