I pre-purchased this EP when it was announced. I have been having this bug ever since I have owned the pack, and none of the updates or patches have fixed this. It's incredibly frustrating when I spend HOURS getting a residential rental set up and perfected, hoping that the EP is fixed after the most recent patch, and to no avail, I find that my sims never get the rent from the tenants, and the lease expiration date never decreases, day by day.
Do better, EA. Charging people $40 for a pack that's *broken* is ridiculous and shameful. Fix this ASAP or you may lose hundreds of players.
Even after today's update, and July 1st's update, the EP is still bugged. The lease length finally started going down, but upon reboot, shot back up to the full length. This specific bug has not been addressed in either update, and it feels like they're just refusing to acknowledge it. It's extremely upsetting and frustrating to have spent full price on this pack only to have it not work properly. I'm still waiting to see if it'll be fixed.
Please, EA. I'll advertise the pack to my friends who own the game if you fix this. I'm begging. I just want my rentals to work so I can be the landlord that people DESERVE, since in the real world we can't get that.
