I am writing to express my deep frustration with the ongoing issues in The Sims 4: For Rent expansion. It is completely unacceptable that critical bugs — such as tenants not paying rent to player-owned landlords — remain unresolved for so long.
The fact that this core gameplay mechanic has been broken for months, without any meaningful communication or timeline for a fix, is extremely disappointing. Many players have reported this issue, and yet there has been no proper acknowledgement, no workaround provided, and no transparency on when or if this will be addressed.
As loyal players and paying customers, we deserve better than silence and delay. You are ignoring your community, and it’s not the first time. We are tired of broken packs and being left in the dark.
Please take this seriously. Fix the bugs. Talk to your players. Respect the people who keep your game alive.

I understand the frustration, and I also believe the bug fixing team itself isn’t to blame - the wait is sometimes part of the process.
That said, if this doesn’t get resolved, the reality is that the next steps involve reaching out to consumer associations or customer services, and, if needed, joining forces with other players to demand that the license agreements - which these games are - are honored. You can’t sell a license for something with a key feature that doesn’t work.
We want to keep enjoying the game and supporting it, but communication
