Frozen game/menu after ad

I'm yet again having the issue where the full-screen splash ads for packs that I already own freeze the game and make it unplayable.

This is incredibly frustrating and it has been going on - and a fairly common issue - ever since these full-screen splash ads were added to the game. I shouldn't need mods to simply be able to load into the game, and after the last update even mods can't fix it.

You've now even got creators EA has partnered with for packs in the past unable to get into their own games due to this.

If EA can't get the splash ads to stop freezing the game for all players, they need to either turn them off or let us turn them off.

I buy all the packs, but I won't be for much longer if being able to play the game on any given day keeps being a lottery due to the broken splash ads.

Hello,
I've had this problem for a while, at least 2 or 3 months I think. When I lauch the game, if an ad screen about a pack or event pops up, when I close it, a grey overcast stays on my screen and I can't do anything. I have to open my task manager, close TS4, then launch the game again. I often have to do it 2 or 3 times, until no new pack screen pops up and I can finally play.
It is VERY irritating and putting me off playing. Does anyone experience that too ? Is there any solution ?
I play on PC, own about 13 packs/kits, and only play with the organized Buydebug mod by Tmex.

To give an example, this morning I couldn't play because the game keeps pushing the "warm welcome" screen, advertising the Cozy Bistrot kit and Storybook Nursery kit. Keeps popping up every time I launch the game, and so I can't play. Please stop ? Maybe ?

This is an old problem and now players are reporting it in a different way but the root cause remains the same The team that claims they are obligated to fix the game hasn't cared If they fix the engine isn't the game engine owned by EA ?

Hello!

I encounter a persistent issue with not being able to enter the game because there is a dark overlay on the screen, as a result of closing promotional pop-ups after entering the game.
None of the buttons is clickable...
PS. Trying "Repair" doesn't help
The device used is : MacBookAir 2024 (13 inch), 24 GB, macOS Tahoe 26.2.
