I had the same issue, and I posted a thread yesterday. I did read through the comments here to find solutions and the waiting solution actually worked I just tested it. You just have to not click okay or close the error message window or the gallery window and it will eventually save to library or upload. I'm not sure if this will work for you but I can't believe I tried so many solutions and doing nothing is what worked.
