Game bugs out when my teen starts going through a phase.

My teen sim starts going through a phase at first it was a mean phase when I switched to my teen and tried to click on simology almost all UI options stopped working. The only one consistently opening was build mode but even then it would not let me do anything or go back into live mode. If I open simology (which works 10% of the time) I can see all the character values glitching out and arrows next to them as if they’re decreasing and increasing. My sims still do things autonomously but I can’t make them do anything. I closed my game from the Xbox menu and resumed the game when I got back on Sims, it put me about 10 ingame hours back but when I got to about the time i left off from  she went through a phase, she started another one ( rebellious phase) again the same issues. I did the same as before and restarted and this time opened simology straight away, this time the game bugged out immediately. As said before I play on Xbox and have never experienced this bug before, I did download the lovestruck pack so it might be to do with that somehow. Another of my teen sims in my same save file went through a phase before but was fine.
