Other information that could be relevant:
- this is a shell that I'm building, so it's currently minimally furnished
- the cursed staircase wraps around once
- the level that it leads to has platforms, but it doesn't start or end on a platform
- walls and floors are all painted the same color throughout the build
- cursed staircase is fully enclosed so that the interior starting level doesn't have weird exterior lighting since it leads up to the rooftop.
- there are half walls of varying heights around the top of the staircase on the exterior level
