Hello,
After installing the latest official game update, icons in the left part of the screen start duplicating by themselves. The interface becomes doubled, copies of buttons appear, and I am not pressing any extra keys – the icons just duplicate on their own.
A few seconds later, the game completely freezes, stops responding to any clicks, and the only way out is to restart my computer.
Here is what I have already tried, but the problem remains:
- Fully restarted my computer.
- Verified the integrity of game files in the EA App.
- Ran the game as administrator.
- Temporarily disabled my antivirus.
I am playing without any mods or custom content.
Please help me fix this issue. The game is unplayable right now.

Hello, my problem is with The Sims 4 on PC via the EA App. Whenever my sim is doing an activity, a random activity will spam the action box, overflowing it.
This has been happening to me, also. Not all the time, it just randomly seems to occur, but it started after the 2.32 update in May 2026.
