First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

I am having the same issue. At this point the game is literally unplayable and no word from EA when they are going to fix this...
I cant open or interact with any of the sim panels, build buy mode or even access the save menu to exit the game
Ok, first delete your cache in your sims folder and when you enter the game turn off script mods in options, see if that works
Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.There is also an issue affecting various items. Realm of Magic spell/potion tomes are unreadable (appropriate level of magic, don't know the spell/potion, but it won't let my Sim read it). Items purchased after using the hidden objects cheat are not functioning correctly. I tend to play spellcasters a lot, and this plus the unable to travel bug are making the game unplayable.
Also, I cannot find anyone to "help fix broken relationships" for since the lovestruck pack, including townies I know have bad relationships. I have checked under every single social menu with these townies (L. Faba, Malcolm Landgraab to name a couple).

Ever since I downloaded lovestruck I cannot do much of anything really. The main menu showing learn more about lovestruck caused the game to not respond for like an hour and when it finally did everything’s on an infinite loading screen and doesn’t work. Even if I leave it for hours. I was so excited to play! :(
my game still is not functional screen goes black when going to manage world and freezes up and i have to restart my PC every time with the black seen i can still see all game options but can't click any of them
Is anyone else having problems with ALL ui? My sims are all the same name now. Also my horses stand up on 2 legs and act like humans...which I know is humorous but also dang it I want it not to be humorous I just want to play. Can't edit world either IF I select any ui before hand. The only way to edit the world or save or interact with top right ui is by doing it at the very start of never touching bottom right ui....so weird
