I have been playing with the custom venues in Adventure Awaits and when there is a getaway going on, you can not manually throw away trash or spoiled food. Even if you make the host clean as a task, the whole place becomes full of uncooked and spoiled food. It takes over all the countertops. I also had a pile of trash that it would not let me or my Sims throw away.

to be sure, by manually you mean you can't drag the trash to trash cans ? or do Sims not do it when you direct them too ?
What exactly happens when you try ?
Hello, I have the same problem; the object doesn't open any text boxes, and manually, yes, by dragging it to a trash can or sink, it works one time but not the other. I have mods, but I tried without scripts, and the issue is still here. It's been happening for two months, I would say. It is possible to put them in household inventory, that's what I did to get rid of them, but we can't sell them, so it's stuck there. Some sims have those spoiled foods in their inventory and can't clean them either. It is strange, not a catastrophe, but definitely a bug. For the time I have been playing, I think there might be a link with moving/relocation.
