crinrict That was my mistake; I didn't fully understand the forum's features.
In my personal testing, I used two different Sims for the two save files. However, their commonality is that both were named in Simplified Chinese.
Could this issue be related to naming Sims in Simplified Chinese?
Hi Birch1033
Would be interesting to know if it also crashes in the English version. Did you test that ?
If you don't want to change your language, please upload your save somewhere and I'll test on mine.

Hi crinrict
I deleted the "LastException" files as I did before, set the game language to English, and created a new Sim to start a new save file for testing.
The results show that the English version did not trigger the error code. The Sim in the Actor career was able to travel to the job lot and work normally.
I've attached a screenshot of the test.

yeah, that's what I meant so thanks for testing.
Is there a difference from traditional to simplified Chinese how you handle last name/names and gender ?

Hi crinrict
I'm not entirely sure if it's directly related to how names and gender are handled, but I can confirm that in my Simplified Chinese saves, the error occurs with both female and male Sims.So far, I have tested four saves:
Two Simplified Chinese saves, both using female Sims for testing.
One Traditional Chinese save, using a male Sim for testing.
One English save, also using a male Sim for testing.
To be thorough, I created a fifth save with a male Sim named in Simplified Chinese, and the error code still persisted.
I've attached a screenshot for this test as well.
A small note: Due to the time zone difference between China and the US, my replies may not be immediate. Thank you for your understanding.
