I'm experiencing the same issue with The Sims 4: Get Famous acting career.
During an acting gig, the "Get into Hair and Makeup" task does not complete properly. My Sim can interact with the styling chair, but the task stays unfinished / does not count as completed.
I do not use mods or custom content.
Things I already tried: resetting the Sim and the styling chair, repairing the game, deleting localthumbcache.package, placing a new styling chair / makeup chair on the lot with bb.enablefreebuild, leaving and re-entering the gig, and trying the interaction multiple times. None of these fixed the issue.
Platform: PC / EA App (Mac)
Pack affected: Get Famous
Game version: Latest update as of May 14, 2026 (most recent patch installed)
Expected result: The hair and makeup interaction should complete and the gig task should be marked as done.
Actual result: The interaction does not complete correctly and the "Get into Hair and Makeup" task remains unfinished.
