Go to School action not working

My Sim is late and she will do anything but go to school. The Go to School button provides no action. See also Sims won't eat. No mods, on a Mac.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Did you never have mods/cc or remove them ? Please pick a thread tag for that.
    • is the button greyed out or do they simply not go ?
    • Is this for a child or teen and do you have the have the high school pack ?
    • Does it happen on every save/household ?
    • Does it work on a new save ?
