[GRO] Friendship bracelets permanently stuck on Sims

The friendship bracelet seems to either never break which means it cannot be destroyed and removed or it "falls off" and can be destroyed in the inventory but then even after being destroyed it stays on the wrist visually

As far as I can tell this issue was introduced in a recent (not the most recent but possibly the one prior) patch

I have the same issue. In my family there are brother and sister who exchanged their - now the are adults with kids, and still wearing. It's impossible to get rid of them anyhow
