Ideas
Infants will sparkle and get the notification that they are reaching a milestone, but won't complete them. This leaves them unable to continue on with other milestones they need to (like "sitting up" in order to "try foods in high chair," etc.)
My Sim had four kids. The first two reached milestones with no problem, but the last two had milestones get stuck on "put toe in mouth" and "sit up."
