I upvoted this one. My Sims have been researching genealogy on the computer for months and months. Unfortunately, nothing has ever happen.
I want a long lost cousin or any kind of long lost relative to show up so, so, SO bad!! Please fix this. Now with the new improved family trees, it would be even more amazing to find a family member that they didn't know they had. Oh man, the drama this could create...
I FINALLY had a long lost relative show up (only works in new save, research genealogy in first few days in game), however the new "cousin" doesn't show up in the tree at all since there is/are no "connecting" relative/s. Completely missed the mark, imho. They are relatives via gameplay, but that's it.
