This is actually incredibly important. I want the freedom of creating whatever type of club I want within the limitations of Get Together as it was when I purchased it. (I would like the same rules to work for Businesses & hobby too but it's unacceptable for another pack added to ruin our experience with a previous one.)
Creating a club with Evil AND Art lover sims is completely different from having a club with Evil OR Art lover sims. The 2nd one absolutely defeats the purpose of trying to have a club of evil villain sims that appreciate fine art together.
In Businesses and hobby, I'd want a similar option of, for example, creating a small magic shop specialising in dark arts (in the style of Borgin & Burkes) selling cursed potions and whatever questionable magical items. Its clientele should obviously be, for immersion's sake, Evil AND Spellcaster sims. Not just any spellcasters but specifically those who you'd think to be interested in buying such items.
Tldr; please fix AND/OR logic of admission rules for creating new clubs and modifying existing ones. Please let us have the option for similar functionality in Businesses & hobby.
P.S. It would be super fun to have an XOR rule too! Or do we have a negative admission rule implemented already and I just never utilised it..? ("Basically anyone is welcome to my cooking club except for sims that are both Vegetarian and Lactose intolerant 'cause I don't wanna deal with that!" :D)
Wondering if there's any update on this issue? siirysiir explained it so well that I didn't chime in, but this is exactly the fix I've been hoping for too.
I had really enjoyed using the club filter and it had been a big part of my gameplay. Is there any hope of restoring this functionality with a future update?
Because this thread has very little traction, I have a feeling the dev team has this issue as a low priority, if they're even aware of it at all. I didn't see it on the laundry list for the last update. It very well could be this change was intentional, though I really hope not.
