I just created a new save, no mods or cc used.
I used two sims from my library, one male and one female, made some minor changes before placing them in a pre-existing house in Komorebi. When entering live-mode I see they are aliens.
I thought maybe the sims I used were aliens, and I just forgot to check and remove the occult from my new sims. I deleted my household, and went back into CAS to check, and my new sims were humans. I gave them new occult-types and removed them again, before placing them in the world . Entering live-mode again, and they are still aliens.
I deleted my household again, checked the sims from my library, and they were humans too, though now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure I made them aliens.
If I enter CAS through live-mode, they are aliens without human form.
I tried a workaround: gave both of my sims the vampire occult, placed them in my world and thus they got saved as vampires in my library. I deleted my household again, entered CAS and removed the Vampire occult. Placed them in my world again and entered live-mode. My sims are still aliens.
The two first photos shows the sims I used to create my new sims. Photo 3 & 4 photos shows my new sims. The two last photos show my new sims as aliens.
I created my sims in early September, so it’s a recent bug.
TLDR: I can re-assign them the alien occult or any other occult in CAS, but pre-existing aliens show as human until you enter live-mode. Vampire, mermaid, werewolf and fairy sims all show on the library and in CAS as occult. I don’t have other occults in my library, so I’m unable to check those.
