No mods. I have Parenthood, Get together, Get to work, Laundry day stuff and Growing together. Sims turn invisible after being abducted and the only way to fix it is to restart the game. They continue about their lives but, invisibly.

Every time one of my sims is abducted by aliens, they come back completely invisible. They're still able to do actions, but it just looks like objects are floating when they're holding them.
I’ve seen this, too, also after alien abduction, and have a workaround: have the invisible Sim take a shower. When they emerge from the shower, they’re visible and clickable again.
