My fully alien child can’t use the alter disguise or disguise themselves option in the game even though when I checked with other alien children, they could. I’m not sure if it’s because I added the alien form through the add occult button but it just doesn’t work for my active sim family. I play on PS5 so there is no cc or mods, this is literally just a bug in the game.

Were the other children you checked ingame born ones ?
Did you change them to alien for an existing non-alien or created them in CAS and made an alien this way ?
The other children were in born ones, it’s just the ones that I made alien in cas that aren’t able to disguise themselves
Just gave this a try with a new Sim. Created a child and then made them occult (not create as occult). Works fine.
I also tested an an existing child with fulleditmode and it still works with no issues.
Could you test another child to see if it's limited to that one child ?
It worked for the new child but not the existing one. It seems to be for some odd reason limited to the one child.
Is the child somehow related to another occult Sim (like not an alien but for example a Vampire) and had occult genes before ?
Would you mind uploading the Sim to the gallery for checking ? Put the name here and your creator name if it differs from here.
No, the parents are one full alien sim and one human sim so the child was a half alien before but I made them full alien from the pick an occult. The sims name is the Star Berry Family and the creator name is Jbuddaflyy
I'll check them out later today but maybe there's a conflict with the child having been half-alien already ?
Yeah, I’m feeling that might be the problem but I changed my first born sim to alien to see if that was the problem and they were able to disguise themselves. It’s just such an odd like glitch for me
Strange. I converted all three and neither of them had the option.
Going to mark this as review now. Don't know what's going on. Leaving it to EA to figure out if there's a bug they need to look into.
