As it says above plus they can't go in their own home and have to be invited inside by another active sim. Happened on a save I started before the new update so wondered if it somehow got corrupted. Started a new save today and the same thing happened just after an in game week - just like the previous save I had. So far when this has happened both of these active sims were male and their female partners, children and cat didn't have the "neighbour" tag. Additionally, it didn't fix itself after, but on the first save when I invited the male sim inside, it came up with the dialogue that's like "looks like everything's fixed now, mind if I stay for a bit longer" and still registered was tagged as a neighbour.
I play with no mods and on a laptop, using laptop mode plus low reflections in graphics. Cannot attach a photo right now because the EA app says it's launched while it isn't so can't get on the game as I am typing this up.
