The doors don't work for me currently in a save. I drew my sim a house, and put doors, she managed to get in once, then out. Since then she doesn't want to go back inside. If I teleport her inside, she can come out but not the other way around. Examples below. I have put multiple doors to test it and it doesn't want to work. It might be something on my end, but I am not sure, if anyone has a fix, let me know :) Thank you !

there's currently two issues where Sims can't walk through doors
If you hover over your Sims, do you see a neighbor tag ?
Also did you test with no mods/cc ?
I didn't test without mods/CC but it did say "neighbour" on my sim. Then going in and out of build mode fixed it.
