Household members turning into neighbors/ Can't use doors (1.112.519/2.06)

My sim went out to the garden and upon coming back cannot use any of the doors. When hovering over my sim it says “neighbor”. I’ve had this bug before so I knew to try to go to manage worlds which usually works, it didn’t. I tried to reset, go into cas, and resetting game. No dice. This comes right after the most recent update on April 16th, 2026. I use little to no mods in my game (which ran well and had no issues before the most recent update).
