I just got this bug after updating the game to the update from 28th of April 2026. I have tried going out of the game, go to manage world and resetting the sim multiple times. She can't take care of her infant kid.
Edit: I invited her in (as I could that even though she was a household member and created on the same time as her spouse), then I could remove and add her to the family again and now she is considered part of the family again, for anybody else having this problem.
