I've been having a problem for a few days with the unpaid bills in my household: they're positive, i.e. I'm told I have to pay +120, but it's impossible! I've tried moving several ...
Ideas
The option to pay bills exists (on the mailbox and phone) and the sim 'does the action' but nothing happens; the power does not return, and the option to 'pay bills' remains. Cannot use computer due to power shut off.
-tried replacing the mailbox with every other mailbox variant
-tried paying bills will all adult sims
-tried moving the lot and family
-tried moving to a completely different lot and world
-tried travelling and returning home
-tried installing a mod that auto pays bills and allows children to pay bills
Additionally, it's a large house and the bills are under 50 simoleons, which is suspicious.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- are your bills a positive amount like this thread: Household receives positive bill they can't pay (wrong Math) | EA Forums - 4943342
I am not using mods. I tried adding a mod with an 'Autopay Bills' function to fix this problem, but it did not work. My bills are a positive amount, but similarly to that thread they do not make sense. It's a very large farm house I downloaded from the gallery, so the bills should be much more expensive than they are. My sims nor the lot have any traits that would make bills cheaper (Frugal/Geothermal).
