Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- are your bills a positive amount like this thread: Household receives positive bill they can't pay (wrong Math) | EA Forums - 4943342
I am not using mods. I tried adding a mod with an 'Autopay Bills' function to fix this problem, but it did not work. My bills are a positive amount, but similarly to that thread they do not make sense. It's a very large farm house I downloaded from the gallery, so the bills should be much more expensive than they are. My sims nor the lot have any traits that would make bills cheaper (Frugal/Geothermal).
Thank you for your time and your response, I appreciate it. I could go back to an old save.. but I am really happy with how things are going in my current save and would really rather not.

Okay, thank you. I noticed that the thread you referred me to was created 11 months ago but it doesn't seem like there are any updates.. Is that typical?
