When I travel with my one Sim to the café lot “South Square Coffee” in Windenburg, another Sim from the household follows after a certain time, even though I have not instructed them to come with me....

I've been having this issue since the April 29th patch and since I bought and downloaded Business and Hobbies on May 10th.
Whenever I want to travel to another lot with one of my household sims, all of the sims in that household (not including pets) will travel with them, even when they aren't selected to. When I think click the 'house' icon on their pictures (to send them home) they just don't. The sims walk over to their teleporting section to leave the lot and return home, vanish for a second and then return. This means wherever I go, all of my households sims follow. It is incredibly infuriating for story-telling purposes!
This happens with or without mods.
I play on a MacBook Air (2022).

It's similar, but not the same, no. The household sims follow immediately, not after a short while, as if I've selected them to travel as well. It also happens on all lots, not specific ones. This means residential as well as community ones, and has happened in every world.
There's also this: [OPEN] Sim travelling in group by default | EA Forums - 11391925 but that usually isn't an issue with not being able to send them home.
According to others that have posted, the lot doesn't matter.
Can you duplicate the same on a new save that never had mods in ?
