No, I haven't used any small businesses yet and this problem already happened before I got the business and hobby expansion.
I just have four couples starting out in a regular home, sharing a living room and kitchen, and each pair having their own large bedroom with room for some things for their hobbies and their own bathroom. I added an extra room when a couple divorced, I am mainly running an experiment here to see how the worst possible couples with opposing traits and interests work.
Only one has an active doctor career, the other seven have regular careers.
The trespassers have moved in to clean up things, use an object in there like the yoga mat or a computer, or to talk to a sim who is in there.
