[HR] Canyon Wildflowers invisible in laptop mode

Do you have laptop mode on ? If this is not what you are seeing, please provide some pictures.

I do have laptop mode on I believe (I play on my laptop), but I have looked at that page and it doesn't mention what I said. I am having the leaves problem as well with practically ever tree, and I left a comment about that on that thread, but no one that I can find in that thread mentions flowers not showing. Besides the Horse Ranch flowers, all of the leaves and bushes are showing up for the flowers, but they are just plain bushes. It's a similar issue, but not the same one.

Here are a few screenshots. As you can see, almost all the flower bushes are just bushes and no flowers are shown. I also sent a picture to show that the Horse Ranch flowers are completely invisible and to show that the only flowers that work properly are the Outdoor Retreat ones. The picture with the two flower bushes I thought might be important because those two bushes show flowers, but they aren't correct. They aren't colored correctly at all since the brown ones I know are supposed to be a blue/purple and the other whiteish ones don't show the entire flower. These are the only two I found that did this, but I could have missed some. A majority just don't show anything. I also changed the color on the one that showed the brown ones instead of the blue ones and when I did, the flowers just disappeared completely again.

Could you test if it looks normal if you turn laptop mode off (just for testing).

Also what season is your game currently in ? Does that make a difference ?

I opened a new world and started it on fall instead of spring, making sure to go to the same lot. Changing the season fixed all of the plants except for the Horse Ranch wildflowers. The wildflowers got fixed whenever I turned off laptop mode, though keeping this off isn't viable for me because the game is a lot more laggy with it off.

I do think it's on purpose that they are only there for certain seasons.

As for the wildflower ones, since they are invisible, it's very possible that it's tied to that other issue with the leaves.  

That makes sense. I was not aware that it would change plants being placed. However, wouldn't the flowers be more visible and bright in the spring and less in the fall? I may be wrong and I'm not 100% sure what the weather is like in the worlds I was using currently. 

There's an older thread I found: Flower not showing colors | EA Forums - 8647169 that gave me the idea and here's a thread saying that some plants are missing their winter variant: [S] [SE] Pond Lillies Missing Winter Variants | EA Forums - 11684721 so pretty sure that part is not a bug.

Checking with a CM what Maxis wants to do though.
