My chickens, goats, and, sheep are randomly disappearing as well I didn't receive any notification warning me they were going to run away they just disappeared. The animals aren't in my Sims Inventor...

For a work around, fence in your chickens and sheep. They will stay then. Not always ideal, but helpful.
