[HR] Ranch hand forgets chore assignments

I ask him not to repair things (he breaks things more than he fixes them!) and it is reselected each morning when he arrives

I also have this issue. The ranch hand arrives, I assign them just 'Livestock', they do barely any livestock chores, end for the day, come back the next day, and all chores are assigned. They also keep walking in my house when I've selected unlocked for just the household.

My sim is working towards the botanist career and aspiration so I need them to do their own gardening to build skill and complete the tasks, so I turn off Gardening for the ranch hand. They come back every day and start gardening as soon as they arrive and I have to reset it. 

I have the same issue. I do not want him to repair things because then he spends the whole day in the house, so I had to disable the repair assignment every morning. 

... He still spends more time cooking or being in the house, or going on the swings, than care for the animals or garden, but it is marginally better. I wish there were a lock door function for only ranch hand as I have other sims employees I need to have access to the house so there is no current category I can use to not have him invade the house without locking other sims, that should have access, out
