[HSY] Detention without reason while being in class

I cannot get footage of this happening but I have just had my Sim put a book away while in the classroom as the lesson started and my Sim got detention? The head teacher walked in and yelled at him and gave him detention. Then when he had completed the detention, I ended the day early because I didn't want to wait about for no reason and he got yelled at again and told that he's "got some guts coming into school when he was skiving." This makes absolutely no sense....?

This happens in my game. I finally caught it on video. I play on Xbox so no mods or CC. I find what triggers is is the principal talking to the teacher in the classroom before class starts. Because the principal is already in the classroom when the bell rings, the game thinks that the students in the classroom are skipping class. Lucky for me my sim avoided detention but that other teen wasn't so lucky.
